The short version

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We only hold personal data you choose to send us: through an email field on this website, by email, through our questionnaire, or when we work together. We use it to reply to you and to do the work. When you give us your email, we may also send you occasional marketing emails, and you can stop them with one reply.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Bc. Michal Bušek, BBA, a self-employed person (OSVČ) trading as Cubeduck, IČO 22312331, with registered address Osvobození 64, 664 81 Ostrovačice, Czech Republic. For anything about your data, write to info@cubeduck.com.

What this website collects

Browsing this website records nothing about you on our side. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded video and no chat widget. The fonts are served from this domain, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font provider.

When you type your email into a field on this website and press the button, it is sent to us and arrives at info@cubeduck.com. We keep it to reply to you about your free post and, as the note under each field says, to send you occasional marketing emails. We also record which page you sent it from and when. If we do not end up working together, we delete it within 24 months, and you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your browser may keep a small amount of data on your own device for ordinary page behaviour, such as a half-filled form. It stays on your device.

Server logs

Our hosting provider in the European Union keeps short-term access logs for security and troubleshooting: IP address, time, the page requested and the browser. We do not use these logs to profile visitors and we do not combine them with anything else.

If you fill in our questionnaire

After a call we may send you a short questionnaire. It asks for your name, role, email, LinkedIn profile, company and your answers about your business and goals. If you name a colleague who approves posts, it also holds their name and email, so please let them know.

We use your answers to prepare a proposal and your first session, and to contact you about them. The lawful basis is steps you asked us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the people we have spoken with. Marketing emails rest on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. If we do not end up working together, we delete the answers within 24 months.

If you email us

When you write to info@cubeduck.com, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to answer you. If we work together, we keep them for as long as the relationship and our legal record-keeping duties require. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and, once there is a contract, the contract itself.

Marketing emails

When you give us your email address, through a field on this website or our questionnaire, you agree that we may send you occasional emails about Cubeduck, such as new articles, services and offers. The note under each email field says so. We keep a record of when you gave us your address. We also email our clients about services like the ones they already use, as Czech law allows.

You can stop at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or by using the link in the email. Stopping costs nothing and does not affect anything else between us. We never sell or rent your address.

If you become a client

Working together means we hold what the work needs: your name and contact details, the recording and notes from the conversation that becomes your voice profile, the drafts, and billing details. We use that material to write and deliver your posts and to invoice you. We do not use client material to train AI models, and we show one client's work to another only with permission.

Who else can see it

Only the providers we need to run the business: web hosting, email, the tools we use to plan and deliver the work, and our accountant for invoices. Each of them handles the data on our instructions. If a provider stores data outside the European Union, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Email addresses from the website, enquiries and questionnaire answers: up to 24 months if we do not work together. Client material: for the length of the work and a reasonable period after it. Invoices: for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires, currently up to ten years. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@cubeduck.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.

Cookies

This website sets none. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before anything is set.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects people we already work with, we tell them by email as well. Our Terms of Use cover the use of the website itself.
